Navodaya JNVST Class 6 pattern (new for 2027)

Take Mock 1 early. Mental Ability carries the most questions, so the report shows which question types (figures, series, odd one out and more) cost marks.
With the exam on 28 November 2026, take one full mock every week and practise only the concepts in the report between mocks.

What is the new JNVST Class 6 pattern for 2027?
Mental Ability 20 and EVS 20 questions in 60 minutes (50 marks), Arithmetic 20 questions in 30 minutes (25 marks) and Language 20 questions in 30 minutes (25 marks). Each question has 1.25 marks and there is no negative marking.
When is the Navodaya Class 6 exam?
The JNVST for entry to Class 6 is on Saturday 28 November 2026, for students studying in Class 5. Always check navodaya.gov.in for the latest notice.
Are the Navodaya tests in Marathi?
Yes. Choose Marathi medium or English medium when you start. नवोदय चाचण्या मराठी माध्यमातही उपलब्ध आहेत.
How much does it cost after the free mock?
Mock 1 and some practice questions in every chapter are free. After that you pay only for what you choose: one full mock, one real past paper, or all the chapter practice of the exam. Each has a small price shown on the exam page, plus 18% GST, and the GST invoice comes by email. The Unlimited Mock Pass gives a new full mock or your own test whenever you want, until the 2027 exam.
